Euro Plus: Infection Hip Spacer

In total hip arthroplasty, infected periprosthetic femoral fractures are some of the most complex and significant complications.

By using EURO PLUS Infection Spacer Molds, surgeons are able to create intraoperative,

temporary cement spacers corresponding to Euromed modular cemented stem and femoral head for patients undergoing a 2Step revision due to infection. The clearly shaped and smooth surface allows the patient a certain mobility during the implant period.

Temporary antibioticloaded cement spacer facilitates the extermination of infections and fracture stabilization. EURO PLUS Infection Spacer Molds can be sterilized for reuse. We recommend to use bonecement with standard viscosity to making Hip cement spacers.
